Cost of owning, renting a property in Delhi
While much of Delhi is a saturated market, there are resale and redevelopment units, as well as affordable options in the city. If you are a family with kids, budget anywhere between Rs 5,000 and Rs 25,000 per month. On the basis of your child’s age, costs will vary. There are many day-care centres, schools and colleges in the city to choose from. Given the quality of education, the fee structure also varies. Part-time maids/helps/day-care operators to look after your child, will cost you anywhere between Rs 3,000 and Rs 25,000 per month.

What is the Cost of leisure / lifestyle amenities in Delhi?
On an average, a dine-out at an inexpensive eatery will cost you Rs 300 per person, while a mid-range restaurant will cost Rs 1200-1500 for a meal of two people, per visit. Therefore, depending on the kind of cuisines you love and where you frequent, you can estimate your spending. Other avenues that end up costing you are movies, theatre, hangouts with friends and family, weekend parties, shopping at malls and cost incurred in exploring the city.
