Ekamaya Properties Private Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of M/s Birla Estates Private Limited. Hindalco Industries Limited stated in a regulatory filing on September 4, 2024, that it had fully signed and registered definitive agreements for selling the aforementioned land block.

Property registration documents provided by CRE Matrix show that Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, the automaker, sold a 20.5-acre plot of land in Mumbai's Kandivali neighborhood for ₹210 crore. According to statistics provided by Anarock, real estate developers and companies closed about 101 different land deals in fiscal year 2023–24, totaling almost 2,989 acres across the nation.
